Packer Test Analysis Software
Replaced spreadsheet-based Lugeon and hydraulic conductivity calculations with auditable software. Multiple industry formulas calculated side-by-side.

The Problem
Similar to the CMRR software, this customer was using spreadsheets to calculate packer test results. The pitfalls here were that the calculations were not auditable and not easily reproducible. There were also multiple empirical formulas being used by different colleagues, which was not ideal.
The Solution
Built a calculation engine running Hoek & Bray (1974) and CANMET (1977) side-by-side on every test. Choose the method with full visibility.
Every pressure stage, every flow reading, every calculation step logged. Full audit trail when the grouting contractor questions your K value.
Houlsby (1976) flow regime classification built in. Automated interpretation identifies laminar, turbulent, dilation, washout, and void filling.
